A Star is born

I am so excited for my cute cousin for many reasons most of all that she is marrying a really great guy in July and also because she is going to be on the upcoming season of "The Next Food Network Star." Check out the press release here. We have always known that Kelsey was destined for stardom. The show airs June 1st be sure to tune in!

If you are in SLC stop into Sur La Table where she teaches cooking classes or go for a bite at Cafe Zuppas a yummy little place that she films a cooking show for.

Kelsey is not the only talent in the family. Her sister, Kylie, took these great pics of Easton and she has more to see here. She is super talented and though she claims to be an amateur her work sure doesn't look it. Keep it up girls!!

Can you tell I am so proud of my family?

(Thanks for letting me borrow your pics Kelsey and Kylie.)

Battle Wounds...from Where?

If you look closely at my little boy's forehead you will see 3 different wounds on his head. If any of you know me you know that I can be a bit clumsy. I know Ryan can get worried at times that I am always running into something or tripping. So it looks like Ezra has inherited this great trait from me (or it might just be that he is still learning to walk).
He currently has two bruises on his forehead and that mysterious cut. Yesterday we got home from running some errands and he came up to me not even within 10 minutes of walking through the door and those two cuts were on his forehead. I have no idea where they came from and he never made a peep about getting them. I hope he can make it to 2 without any scars! At least he is a boy.

New Addition

Heather had her baby today. He is so sweet and perfect and little (a whole 2+ pounds less than Ezra)! Check him out here. She did awesome and it was such a calm, sweet birth. Way to go Heather you are amazing!

Happy Easter

This week Nana and Papa came for a visit. They just spent the last 3 weeks before that going to Egypt and Jerusalem, oh the life of "Empty Nesters." Perfect timing of course because it is Easter weekend. So we went to a few easter egg hunts and had one in our backyard too. It was great but I am tired so I am going to bed but all you really want is pictures right?!

I found this picture on my camera, Ryan or Nana must have taken it. Now I know what they mean when they say "she is 3 going on 25!" I am a girly-girl but she gives me a run for my money!!

Tessa and Tiff

I am a week late on this but Tessa and Tiff came to stay with us last week and it was really great having them here! They came with their kids and it was so great to have them all playing together, that is one thing that is a bummer about being in AZ is that I don't get to see them and our kids miss out on spending time with each other.

Tiff and Aidan sent Trevi a little present for her letting them use her room and she LOVED it so thanks Tiff! Tiff is like my big sister from another mother and she has always been a part of my life since she started babysitting us when I was like one! Now She, Tessa and I all have little boys just months apart! I can't believe I didn't really get one of us all together but here are some of the kiddos.

It was great having Tessa here as always I wish we lived closer! Tessa is so easy to spend time with and I don't worry about living close to her someday, I have faith in us that we could avoid unnecessary family drama =) Maybe just a few Sunday night trips to the ER right? (Easton had an earache and so that is where we ended up on Sunday night.)

And we also celebrated Ezra's birthday a few weeks late since we were out of town. He LOVED his cake, of course!

Love you guys and thanks or coming to play!

Casey and Crystal came to play!

Casey, Crystal, Addy & Holden came to visit us this past weekend! It was so great having them here and spending time with them. We don't get to see them very much so it meant a lot that they drove through the night to get here!!! I still can't believe they did it!

The kids had a great time being together. Trevi and Addy are so funny! It was so fun to see them play together. I think they older they get the more fun they have together.

Ezra and Holden are about 6 months apart! Ezra wins the prize for being the biggest but Holden wins the prize for being the sweetest!! Those of you who know Ezra know how nice he is but Holden seriously never complains. We were loving his constant smiles and cute little things he did.

Thanks for coming guys it was SO great to see you!!

Happy Birthday Ezra!!

Ezra's actual birthday was the 28th but we were in St. George visiting family so I am a bit late posting my ode to him. We had cupcakes and ice cream with friends and family in St. George and we are going to celebrate again when Ryan's brother comes for a visit this weekend.
I can't believe that my baby is already one year old! It really seems like it was just last week I was bringing him home from the hospital. Ezra is such a sweet baby and there is really no other way to describe him but as nice. He is just so nice and sweet. He is a good eater and he LOVES sleep. I wish I could have five more just like him =) Oh, I think I could add handsome to the list of describing words.
We love our baby boy so much and can't imagine our little family without him.
