Ezra's Blessing

Today was a very special day. Ryan blessed Ezra today and our friends and family were there to support and participate. I feel so blessed to have two great kids and the spirit was amazing today. I am so grateful for Ryan, he is a great daddy and such an amazing man. I am so happy that my kids have him to look to and our great extended family that love them so much. So much love was felt today and thanks to all of you that support us whether you are near or far.

Fun with the Family

It was so great to have so much of the family in town this weekend and sad that more couldn't be here. We had fun with all the Easter activities, swimming, shopping and of course eating! Too bad I did not get a picture of all of them, this was the best I had! We are so blessed with a great family I have really come to realize what a blessing they are!!

Easter Egg Hunt (Again!)

We went to the Easter Egg Hunt at Ryan's school on Saturday. Most of my side of the family was in town for the weekend for Ezra's blessing so we had a big crew. Trevi had a great time playing and grabbing as many pink eggs as she could. When they told all the kids to go get the eggs she would come upon a blue egg and leave it saying "that is for boys" and move on to the pink ones. She also surprised us when she hugged the Easter Bunny since she has been terrified of him until that day!

Aunt Tessa's Visit

We had such a fun week with Aunt Tessa visiting! We got pedicures and did a little shopping at Anthem and Trevi had so much fun playing in the water while we were there. (We need to do a playgroup trip there before it gets too hot!) Tessa is such a good Aunt and sister and we are sad that she is leaving for Utah in the morning. But it won't be too long before we will be up there for the arrival of her bundle of joy at the end of May!

Easter Egg Hunt

Last Friday was the first Easter Egg Hunt of the 2007 Easter season. Trevi did a great job and made off with way too many treats which are now hidden and only dispensed in smaller amounts. I say it is the first egg hunt of the season because ever since having kids I have realized that the holidays are celebrated for so much longer than just the day of the actual holiday. We always seem to have so many fun things to do for the weeks leading up to the actual holiday. It is fun for Trevi and it gives her lots to look forward to and playing with friends is the greatest thing for her these days! Now we are looking forward to the school's Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday.
