San Diego

Last week the Pecks and Browns talked us into taking a spontaneous trip to San Diego.  So we headed down Friday and came back Sunday, it was quick but so fun and chill.  Ezra and Trevi loved the beach and Trey loved sleeping in his sweet stroller listening to the sound of the waves.  It was a little chilly in the mornings (anything below 90 is chilly to us now) but warmed up perfectly.  Heather took some amazing pictures which I can't wait to get a better look at.

So healthy...

Just doing her thing...
Trey having a little nap.

It was a great trip and the company doesn't get any better =)  The Pecks blog has lots more pictures...

Thanks Nana & Cami

My mom came to stay with us for 10 days while my dad and Braden were away traveling the Vietnam countryside.  She took Trevi for a special pedicure (she got the full treatment) and was able to spend lots of time with the kids.  Ryan and I took off to Vegas for the weekend with Trey to look for a home to rent.  The market in Vegas is crazy and there was plenty to choose from.  We finally decided on an area and have some pretty great options so we feel good about our efforts.  It was so nice to be able to do it with out having to load three kids in and out of the car each time to look at homes.

Cami came in for the weekend too and Trevi was crying that she was leaving a full 24 hours before she actually left! (This is an old picture, if you guys took any this weekend send them my way)! Thanks so much for taking such good care of the kids you two!!

Terrible, Horrible Twos

This morning started with Ryan walking into Ezra's room to his whole shelving unit tipped over, which he managed to do without even getting out of his crib. So far today (as I write this it is 12:38) he has scattered grapes through out the hall, emptied out a whole carton of wipes, demolished his train table & and opened FOUR yogurts and tried eating them with his fingers! Yesterday while I was dusting he colored all over the leather couch with pen and I was less than 10 feet away. I am sure there is more but I have blocked it out. I swear I watch him but most of this happens when I am nursing, thank goodness Trevi tells on him before things get too bad.

The only reason I am able to sit and write this is because Ryan just walked in the door and this is my therapy. I just have the urge to put it out there that I have a TERRIBLE two-year old. Fifteen minutes to nap time and counting....
