My Sweet Baby

Just a little note to let you all know we are doing good here. To be completely honest I was ready for the loony bin yesterday but today was wonderful. We had a calm, quiet day at home and I was even able to take the boys out for a walk. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has called, emailed, commented, flown down, etc. We feel so blessed to have three healthy children and such wonderful people around us that care about us.
My sister was here this weekend (she mopped my floors, did laundry, baked bread), Heather came for the whole thing and even took pictures (like the one above) and my mom is still here helping me (I am keeping her on the run constantly) get things in order before she leaves on Wednesday, Thursday I may be crazy again. I am extremely grateful to all of you!
Now for those of you that have any advice leave it, I have an emotional 4-year-old on my hands and lots of good friends that are keeping her busy this week, but still any suggestions are welcome!

HSM on Ice

We took Trevi to High School Muscial on Ice last week. Uncle Braden got her a new dress so she got to wear her special new outfit on her fun night out. We left Ezra with a sitter, went to dinner at Hard Rock and went to the show. Trevi was really cute about it, you could tell she felt special that it was just her and mom and dad. She loved the show, the costumes, the singing. She danced along and was totally focused, her enthusiasm made it really fun for Ryan and I. She is such a sweet little girl and is the best big sister. We love our little girl so much!!

Newest Members of the Family

I have an induction date for February 10th so I can no longer put off getting ready for this new little one to join our family. I am really starting to get excited for this little guy to get here and these fun new things will make life with him a little smoother.

Thanks to the encouragement of my lil sister this beauty is now mine! I first saw this stroller thanks to my friend Kass and then Tessa and I saw a couple of them in Hawaii. She knew how much I loved it. Though it was not even on the radar in terms of actually owning one because it is over my price range. But thanks to my Dad, Tessa and Ryan together they chipped and got it for me. The surprise shipment arrived this week and I was totally pumped about it!! Thanks so much you guys!!

Yep, I am now a driver of a minivan! We finally bit the bullet this week and purchased ourselves a white 2008 Honda Odyssey. The day we got it I took Trevi to dance in it and came out to leave and felt a little older getting into it. It is pretty sweet though with all the convenience features and I must say I really do like it!

Sledding

A few days after Christmas we decided to go sledding. Trevi was so excited at the thought of it. It took us about 2 hours to find all our gear, sleds, etc. Then once we were all put together and ready to go 2-1/2 hours had passed. We loaded into the truck and found a hill close to Nana and Papa's house. Ezra went down the hill twice and hated it. (What can I say the kid was born in Arizona, 55 is cold here). Trevi did have fun but was done after about 15 minutes. My mom started laughing at us when we walked back into the house 15 minutes later for hot chocolate.

But later on the way back home to AZ we asked Trevi what was her favorite part of the trip and she said sledding! So it was worth it!!

Trevi was so excited to go!

Ezra getting all put together.

This is us once we were ready to go. Finally!!

After sledding Trevi and Ryan attempted to make a snowman. The did succeed in making one that stood about 12" high. The snow wasn't the best for snowman making.

Merry Christmas

It felt very much like Christmas this year with all the snow and puffy coats we needed! Christmas Eve we had Ryan's parents over to my parent's house for dinner and Trevi and I made sugar cookies for Santa earlier in the day.

Christmas morning Uncle Braden made his way into town and we opened presents and had breakfast at Nana and Papa B's house. We got to talk to Alex on his mission. He is doing so great and he talks so cute in his proper English. Easton and Ezra loved all the trucks and Trevi has so much fun opening all her pink presents. Then we got dressed and headed over to Grandpa and Grandma Jones' house.

All the cousins were there and we opened presents and had a wonderful dinner. Then, we headed over to my Grandparents house to meet up with my mom's family - The Nixons - for annual Christmas party. The Nixons never disappoint when it comes to good times.

That night there was a crazy blizzard and everyone was heading out of town. Thankfully they all made it home safely but it was still scary.

Good times at G&G Jones house.

The boys checking out Elmo.

Trevi was so much fun this year. Notice how Santa knows to wrap all her presents in pink!

The boys went right for the trucks and it took them a minute to rip into the wrapped presents.
