Frusturated Much

I just can't help but laugh when I see him do this...

(I wish I could get it bigger!)

Vegas Visitors

Spring Break brought lots of family which we LOVE!! Ryan's sister and brother came down with their kids so all the grand kids could play together. We had so much fun swimming, eating, playing, cruising the strip, etc. They were so nice and totally spoiled us!! Thanks for coming to visit we can't wait until you guys come again. My kids LOVE playing with their cousins.

Ryan's Sister Nicole & Brother Casey and ALL the kids (9 of them).

We got to have an fun dinner out -- no kids!!

These two are so funny! I love to just watch them talk, play and plot -- hours of entertainment and mischief.

Ryan and I are so happy to have our siblings care enough to make the effort to come and see us! We love you all and it means so much to us to be able to spend time with you all.

Easter at Grandma's

Easter weekend we headed to St. George to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa Bearnson and for me to do a triathlon. This is Trevi with her Great Grandpa Bert. My kids are lucky to have all 4 of their Great-Grandparents on my side. I am so happy they get to know them.

Trevi running to find eggs at Grandma and Grandpa's.

Ez and Grandma

It was so nice to spend the weekend with Ryan. He was able to get it off!

My friend Kathryn and training buddy.

I really love doing triathlons. They are great for getting back into shape after baby and they get my knees strong for long runs...

Easter Egg Hunt

Our community puts on a big Easter Party every year. The Easter Egg Hunt costs money but is well worth it. They line all the kids up on the baseball field and let them run around collecting their treats. The kids ended up with SO MUCH stuff and it was hilarious to watch.

When the whistle went off Trevi didn't hesitate at all. We actually switched out her basket for a grocery bag once we saw the "loot" because there was all kinds of toys and full-sized candy bars, snacks...

Ezra was not really happy about the process of the Easter Egg Hunt because he had to walk out on the field without us. Once the kids started running he just froze and started to cry --it probably didn't help that I was yelling at him to run.
Ryan ended up helping him out.

Where's Ezra?

Daddy and his boys.

Ezra is 3!!

Ezra is three! My sweet little man is getting so big. His birthday was on a Sunday and it was really chill. We just did a little cake and ice cream and let him open his presents. He loved it. He is pretty easy to please!

He really does not like smiling on command for a picture. This is the result -- he looks stressed out!

Seriously, I tried with the cake they just aren't my thing, but Ezra thought it was great!

His best friend is a little girl and they are so cute to watch play. If you know Ezra he doesn't play much with girl things. His friend's older brother has these little skater dudes and he LOVES them. So we decided to get him a few of his own.

Ezra, you are such a special part of our family. You have the cutest way of saying things and we can't slip much past you. You are very smart and so far have been the easiest when it comes to potty training and moving into your big bed. You are a tender-hearted guy and at the same time you are so rough and tough. You love playing with your big sister and are discovering that Trey can be fun too. You LOVE spending special time with your daddy and you are so sweet to your mommy. We love you SO much.

PS. Nana - he really loves his basketball outfit I see it on him at least once a day!

Trey's 1st Birthday

I can't believe Trey is already a year old! It seems like every kid goes faster and faster. He is such a great part of our family. He weighs 25 pounds and is 30 inches long. He is actually the smallest of my three kids at this point. It is fun to see the boys getting bigger and Trey interacting with both Trevi and Ezra. I think it could also make for some tense moments!

This is his super-cheese. I LOVE it. He usually reserves it for Ryan, he really loves his Daddy.

We were traveling back from UT on his actual birthday so we celebrated it on Super Bowl Sunday with the whole family, minus Ryan =(

Getting the first taste...

Of course he loved it -- it's sugar -- and he is my child!

Daddy couldn't be with us since he is working the Trauma Unit this month. But he was able to witness the whole cake-eating festivities via Skype. Trey LOVED being able to see Ryan on the computer and talk to him.

Still going...

Those thighs don't come from a dainty appetite!

Nana helping with Trey's present from Tessa.

Trey you love your family and brother and sister so much. You really love all the men in your life too, especially your Daddy and also Papa & Grandpa. You love your Mommy, Nana and Grandma too, but there is just something about those men that get your cheesy smile going.

Your smiles are infectious and plentiful. Whenever we are out people are always commenting on how happy your are and lots of them like to stop and get a smile or laugh from you. You are a perfect, sweet addition to our family and we can't imagine life without you. There is a little twinkle of mischief in your eye and you are quick to take what you want so I think you will fair well being #3. We love you little guy!!

Surgery Update

Just posting to let you all know that it went well today. They thought it would be about a 20-minute procedure and it took more like 1-1/2 hours. When they got in there the IUD had actually embedded into my omentum(if you watch Oprah you know what that is) so they had to call in a general surgeon to assist in dissecting it out. I am SOOOO tired and feel like I could sleep for 3 days, the anesthesia is rough coming out of! I had to have Ryan stop on the way home so I could throw up -- that's pretty isn't ?!?

(Right now I am not looking so good but this pic makes me feel better -HA!)

Ryan was with me all day and was my "knight in shining armor" -- I love him so much. He made sure to speak with both the anesthesiologist and the surgeon beforehand. Each doctor separately commented on how concerned he was. After it was all said the done the OB/GYN surgeon she was more worried about him than the surgery! Seriously, it was so nice to know he was there checking and rechecking. Even funnier is that he never shows his nervousness to me -- makes it hilarious to hear the doctors say these things. Love you babe!

My mom was so AWESOME taking care of the kids! We got home and they were all so happy. They love having her here. She even taught Trey how to play catch and he LOVES it. Not to mention my mom is on the mend from shoulder surgery she had a few weeks ago. Thanks so much mom I love you!

Thanks to all of you for your well wishes and prayers!!
