Girls' Day Out

Today Trevi and I had an all things girls day! We started off by going to the nail salon and getting a manicure with Trevi's friend Chloe and and her mom Stacy. These girls thought all was right in the world being there and getting their nails painted pink. Then Trevi and I went to lunch and to a couple of her favorite stores. It was fun for her to go to somewhere like the Disney Store without me rushing her to get on to the next thing we had to do. The last thing we did was go see Happy Feet. Though she has already seen it she really wanted to go see a movie and this was the option we had. She loved it! It is amazing how much fun I can have just taking the time to enjoy my little girl. So many days are full of things that I feel I have to do and today helped me to take a step back and just enjoy her. I could have given her all of the best toys that money could buy, but really she is the most happy with me just giving her my time and attention. I am looking forward to this new baby but have decided that Trevi and I must still have our days out in the future, just the two of us.

It's for girls

Tonight when we were putting Trevi to bed I told her tomorrow mommy and her were going to be having a special day together. I told her we would get our nails done and do whatever she wanted. Her eyes lit up and she looked and her daddy and said, "You can't come it's for girls." There is definitely no gender confusion with this little girl!

The end is near....

I had my last doctor's appointment today and I am on the schedule to be induced on Tuesday, February 27th! For the most part this pregnancy has flown by, the only true complaint I have is that my ribs are killing me! The doctor says I am progressing and that my induction should be great and progress well. I am really ready to bring this baby home and can't believe what a blessing it is to be pregnant and be able to have this baby. It is going to take some getting used to having a newborn again but I look forward to it and am so grateful to be able to be a mom with one healthy child, I can only imagine what a blessing it will be to have another. I have so many great friends and family that have helped me through this pregnancy and so many that are ready and willing when the baby arrives. This picture is another one of Heather's and I get to be her experiment for her new photography ideas and that is awesome! I am very, very grateful for this time in our lives and would not trade it for anything!

I am a few days late on posting these pictures but I said I would. These are from Trevi's Valentines Party she had with her friends. They frosted cookies, make a craft and exchanged Valentines with each other. It was pretty crazy because there was about 25 1-4 year olds but she had a great time. Today we went to a friend's house for lunch and she has a baby sister that is about 3 months old. Trevi loved holding her and told me that she loved her and that she was beautiful. It was pretty funny to hear her talking about the baby and see her holding her. She is going to be a great big sister. The weather here is amazing. It is so nice to be able to go to park and let Trevi ride her bike around the block and it is February! She loves riding her tricycle so much all the walking I do with her going around and around the block may just put me into labor (I wish!!). Ryan is studying for finals and has them all next week. I can't wait until next Friday and then we will have his full attention for a whole week!

We have a very fun and busy day and I have some fun pictures to post of Trevi's Valentines Day but right now I am way too tired to do all of that so enjoy this for now! Trevi's Twin

Trevi had lots of fun today with mommy and nana. We went all around town finding things to get her and baby brother's room organized and ready to bring him home. She really loves taking care of her baby that nana made sure looks just like her. She was a great all day long and you can see by the end of the day she was exhausted!

Welcome to our Blog!

We have decided to join the ranks of bloggers! This is such a great way to share everything we are doing with family and friends. Right now Ryan is preparing for finals and is feeling the pressure a bit. Trevi is getting so big and talking so much. She is looking forward to baby brother is asking more and more when he will arrive. She is going to be a very helpful big sister. I am just getting bigger and bigger and waiting for the little one to get here as well! We are planning on having him around February 26th if all goes as planned. That means just two more weeks to go! It is a great time to have the baby because Ryan will be on Spring Break and we don't have to worry about him missing a huge test and having to make it up later. Nana is visiting us until Wednesday and Trevi loves it when she is here. We are just going to be getting everything ready for the baby and making sure we are ready to go! Here is a current picture of Trevi for those of you who haven't seen her in a while. We get lots of great pictures taken because we have a great friend who is also an amazing photographer. Lucky us!!!
