Trey - 6 months

Can you believe he is 6 months old? I love this little guy to pieces. Not a day goes by that someone doesn't comment about how smiley/happy he is. Thank goodness, because three kids is a handful..but worth all the effort.

**A big shout out to my cousin Kylie for these great pictures. She was staying with us on her way back to UT and her transmission was completely toast so we got her for an extra day while it was being fixed. I am so happy we got to spend some extra time with her!!

Happy Little Guy

Trey is just the happiest little guy! He has such a big smile, he just puts me in the best mood when I go in in the morning and he squeals with excitement to see me. Being the third child and second boy he doesn't get the "documentation" he deserves so this post is all about him!

A few weeks ago Trey started getting up at about 9:30 for a couple nights. It was like he knew he could have all of his mom and dad's attention at that time. He was so happy and playful we couldn't help but bring him upstairs with us. He would look at us and just start laughing so of course we had to keep him going.

Tessa came down and we continued on down to Phoenix for a few days. I have so missed the house and having a pool. It was nice to go down in some familiar territory and see some familiar faces. We also went out for some kid-free time. It was nice and relaxing. Thanks for coming down Tessa!

Love these girls!

We thought we would have a quick marshmallow roast one night and it turned into an event! It was so messy, but very delicious!

Lake Powell

This year the kids and I were able to go to Lake Powell with my family. My parents and family are always so helpful and that is what makes it possible for me to be able to go without Ryan. I am so grateful for them for making it possible for us to go. As you can tell Lake Powell with three little ones makes for not very many pics...

Cami, Carly & Schofield came too and they were so much fun. They were also so much help with all the kids.

Easton and Ezra are becoming such good buddies. They are so fun to get together. On this trip though Ezra was crazy and I came home so tired! But he was really good at keeping his life jacket on!

Tessa and I swimming with all the kids! Trey would fall asleep sitting in the floaty and Ezra, who is normally a wuss, loved getting in the raft. Trevi, of course, loved all the swimming, boating, playing. It was a great year!

For the love of frozen food

I am sure you are all just dying to know the story behind this picture! =) While I was out of town for the 4th Ryan had a day off, we have been in the market for a chest freezer and Ryan just happened to find this one on Craigslist for a great deal (8 cubic feet for $60)! So he headed across town to check it out and this guy told Ryan he was a trucker and could get this thing attached to the Honda for him. After demonstrating his mad knot-tying skills he managed to jimmy this baby into the back of the Civic.
I came home to my freezer freshly painted and clean with a beautiful bow on it (it was for my b-day). Ryan also took time to put a fan up in Ezra's room and decorate the house for me. It was all so sweet. It took me a minute to compute that he had actually been the one to pick up the freezer in the Honda. He tried to explain it to me and I just didn't understand, then he showed me the picture and I died laughing. He really drove this thing 25 minutes across the Las Vegas Valley like this!! Isn't he just the best, most ghetto-fabulous husband ever!! Love you babe!

We Made it!

Yes, we made it and we are finally to the point where I can honestly say we are settled! As you can see from the updates below, we have been very busy. We are so happy to be here and Ryan is working away. There is lots to do here, especially with the kids so I am looking forward to discovering what this city has to offer. Our ward is great, tons and tons of kids (5 nurseries, and 4 CTR5 classes). You wouldn't believe the boxes we had when we got here but they are all gone now and our home is taking shape. Thanks for all your questions and support we feel your love from all over. I am looking forward to new adventures but I sure love all the friends we left and all the ones that are scattered throughout the nation now. Here is to another new chapter!!
