Ryan went into check on Ez the other night and found him like this. It was so cute he came and got me to take a peek. It would be so sad if Ezra and his little monkey didn't make a debut on the blog. Nana got him this monkey months ago and he hasn't let it go since. I think it is so cute but the monkey stinks a bit right now I am going to have to sneak it away for a bath today.

Every little bit helps...

Jonesy Baby and Shabby Baby have joined together in their efforts to help with the Nie Nie Recovery. ALL proceeds from these fun gift packs will go directly to the Nielson's for their recovery . It's at the shop
In late August Stephanie and Christian were in a private plane crash, and the result is months of recovery. Stephanie's site continues to have re-posts from her sister, I recommend reading her blog if you ever get a chance. This woman is truly inspiring as a mother and a person. Her sister, just as inspiring, continually gives updates on Stephanie's ( Nie's) recovery as well as her husband's. I wish I knew about these blogs and the family before their tragic accident, but have loved reading and seeing how faithful and strong they are as a family since. We are all hoping for the best; you are in our prayers.
PS. Ryan had a chance to work on Christian and Stephanie while doing a rotation in the Maricopa County Burn Unit. He is grateful he had such an opportunity to help and get to know this amazing family - it has even got him thinking about burn for fellowship.

Halloween 2008

We started off the day with a Halloween Party at Trevi's school. Even Ezra got in on the action!
After naps we headed over to Ryan's school for a little Trick-or-Treating. Ezra loved his horse costume (thanks Jess). Trevi is going to be sad tomorrow when she wakes up and Halloween is a year away.
The last event of the day was our Ward's Trunk-or-Treat. Ezra threw up in the car all over his shirt. At first he was going to be shirtless but the straps on his horse started chaffing. Trevi was in heaven all day long!
Ezra ended the night in his Batman pajamas. He was so good through all festivities today. He was still so happy when we got home and running all around.
Ezra was entertained by my pumpkin belly. Yes, yes it is a pretty weak costume but for the record we did go to a fun Murder Mystery party last weekend to see the proof that I did dress up check out Annie's post here. I am just feeling the chub of being pregnant so I cut myself some slack!
So tired...Good Night!

Halloween, Halloween
So I may have totally let Gymboree take care of Trevi's Halloween costume but I think I made up for it in this cute Halloween outfit! Liora found this cute skirt pattern and I finally got around to doing it. It was really easy the whole outfit took me less than two naptimes and I got it done in time that she could actually wear it before Halloween. Too bad I can't make one for me and look this cute =)
Click here for the skirt pattern.
I think this may be the solution for Ezra's Halloween costume. He wore it around a little Halloween Party we went to yesterday. All I need to do is add his cowboy hat! Sorry Nana, but the Penguin is still not a hit =(

Visiting Family

We got back to AZ this week from visiting the family in UT and welcoming this handsome little man into the world. Looks like we left just in time to miss the snow--we just weren't prepared for that. Thanks Tessa for putting up with the madness at your house so we could enjoy your sweet family. My great cousin Kylie took this sweet picture.
Trevi and Ezra had so much fun visiting family and spending time with cousins. Ezra and Easton are now at a really fun stage and they actually play together (Erza even tried his hand at shoving Easton). Easton really loves Trevi. When he was upset we could call in Trevi to make him smile.
We got together with almost all the Jones cousins at Gardner Village. It was so great to see them all. Trevi just loves her cousins. She even got to have a special sleepover with her cousin Addy. Love you guys & wish we could see you more!!
While Trevi was visiting Addy and my Mom & Tessa had Ezra (thanks so much you guys)I headed up to Park City for a little "Roomie Reunion." Granted we did live in a house with 12 girls (over 3 years) so this little gathering just scratches the surface. I LOVE these girls and was so happy to see them and catch up. These are some quality ladies and I am so grateful to count them as friends.
Nana took Trevi to Build-a-Bear for the first time and she LOVED it! She named her bear Cami (after Alex's Cami). Thanks so much Nana she is still in heaven with her bear.
Kylie came over to Tessa's and took pics of the kids. We tried to get Ezra in his Halloween costume and it was traumatic to say the least. Thanks Kylie we love them!!

Multiplying and Replenishing

My little sister Tessa had her second little boy this morning. Both are doing great! She had a C-section and who knew how slick that is?!? I am used to waiting for the hospital to call...waiting for them to start me on something that causes great pain...waiting for my epidural...waiting to be fully dilated...the big push and then baby.
From the time she left the house until the babe was born was less than two hours! Nixon reminds me of Trevi as a newborn (except for the eyes). When I walked into the room and saw her holding him it was like going back in time. He is a beautiful little guy.
Of course Heather did me a great service by whipping up a little announcement. Thanks Heather!!
